Progress and points

Progress in every area, counted from the sections you finish, with points only the first time.

What it is

What counts as finished depends on the kind of resource. A test or quiz counts when you finish it, a flashcard deck once you have seen every card, and a guide or article once you have read to the end and marked it. A reference section, such as a review sheet, a formula sheet or an event overview, has a button you press when you have been through it. Those take your word for it, so press them only when you have really worked the section.

Home is where that becomes useful. It leads with where you left off, so you can continue a topic, a practice test or a deck in one click, and it shows your progress in each area as work you finished over the work there is: Study Topics, Competitions, DECA, FBLA and Data Analytics, each counted on its own instead of averaged into one number that hides the weak spot.

Every first completion awards points, and only the first, so repeating an easy resource earns nothing more. If your membership includes the AI graders, Home also shows how many graded role-plays you have left this week, and your latest result with the first thing to fix.

What is inside

Continue where you left off

Your most recent work, one click from the page you land on, with the area and the part of it you were in. It only links to what your plan opens.

  • Progress for each area

Study Topics, Competitions, DECA, FBLA and Data Analytics, each as finished over total, so the weak area is obvious rather than averaged away.

  • Points on first completion only

Repeating a resource is good studying and earns nothing extra, which keeps the score honest and makes repetition a choice rather than a grind.

  • Your weekly AI practice allowance

How many graded DECA presentations and FBLA role plays you have left this week, and the result of your latest one, with the first thing to fix.

How to use it

The order that gets the most out of this area.

  1. Start on Home, not in a menu

Continue what you were doing, or look at the area with the lowest bar. It is almost always the right answer and almost never the one you feel like working on.

  2. Use points as pace, not as a score

They measure how much work has actually been done. They are not a ranking, and treating them as one leads people to farm easy resources.

  3. Spend your graded runs early in the week

The allowance resets every Monday. A graded run tells you what to fix, so the sooner you take one, the more of the week you have to fix it.
